Experience the stark beauty and solitude of the spectacular high country surrounding Lake Wanaka enjoying 4WD access to a breathtaking viewpoint high above the lake with far-reaching views to the snow-capped peaks of Mount Aspiring National Park.

This journey will take you to virtually untouched landscapes with your local guide providing you with a fascinating insight into the flora and ecosystem unique to this part of the world. Walking along a deserted ridgeline with only the sound of wind rustling through the ancient tussock grasses will take you away from 21st century chaos and provide you with some of the most impressive photo opportunities of your holiday.

Central Otago is renowned the world over for its fine wine and scenic vineyards. Take advantage of our local inside knowledge and discover boutique vineyards tucked away among the rugged the landscapes of Central Otago.

Our small group sizes (max 8) ensure a personal experience allowing us to visit many of the small award-winning wineries unavailable to larger wine tour companies. Meet passionate vineyard owners, hear their stories of perseverance and dedication in producing their wine in what is fast becoming one of New Zealand’s most popular wine producing regions.

This is a great day of discovery for all, from wine enthusiasts to those just wanting to ‘taste’ what all the fuss is about.

Cancellation policy: Trips cancelled with 48 hours notice prior to tour departure will not be charged, trips cancelled less than 48 hours and up to 12 hours prior to tour departure will be charged 50% and trips cancelled within 12 hours of departure will be charged in full
