Experience the stark beauty and solitude of the spectacular high country with this farm safari and nature walk exploring historic Glen Dene Station, a fully operational sheep, cattle and deer farm overlooking picturesque Lake Hawea.

Visit Glen Dene's shearing shed to feel the softness of merino wool (made famous by iconic New Zealand outdoor clothing brands like Icebreaker) and also touch deer velvet - used extensively in Asian health products.

Enjoy an easy nature walk through high-country grasslands and ancient “dinosaur” forest, followed by morning/afternoon tea overlooking picturesque Lake Hawea.

Option to finish with wine tasting at Wanaka’s world renowned Rippon Vineyard and Winery overlooking picturesque Lake Wanaka.

WANAKA NATURE ENCOUNTER
